The Clerii have reached new levels of pathetic. This is a great feat for their previous levels were nigh impossible to beat.
You see, the Clerii have been assraped by canon. They have been used to wipe the floor with again and again in debates… all of which is bad for pink troop morale.
In turn, their Northern Crater debating grounds have now come up with the following rules for “debate”:
“Unlike your usual typical love triangle debate topic, you don't simply drop in and argue right away. You come in here and give us your terms and conditions.” Says Shroudy (the dude who made dupe accounts and tried to boost Cleris numbers in forum polls).
Indeed. Take a look at the ‘terms and conditions’ imposed by the Clerii, ladies and gents. Then proceed to wipe tears from your eyes. Swear to God we can't make this shit up.
In short, over @ good ol’ TNC, you have to ask for permission to contest their opinions.“Permission to prove you wrong, sir”
“Denied.”
“Oh… I guess I can’t prove you wrong then. Huh, look at that.”
Clever. Ok, not really.
For future reference, in case anyone decides to brave the pink seas, note that “neutral” in those debates means “I believe both/none of the pairings are canon”, rather than, you know, actually neutral.
But we’re feeling generous (and bored) today, devoted readers. We’ve got more hilarity for you. Did you know sarcasm is against the rules at TNC? Why? Because the clerii are too stupid to understand it.
The wrath of The Mod shall fall upon thee. But the fun never ends. Our favourite geriatric Cleris is having trouble maintaining her authority when all her bullshit is revealed to be bullshit.
She just can't debate like she never did. Why debate when you can simply banish someone to debate forums you never visit where you have to give them permission to counter you?
