Ah, April Fools' day. The day you make someone look like a fool, with a cleverly designed prank. We pencilnecks here at Desfail were considering such a prank to pull today to make fools of the members of the Cloud x Aeris forums, but then we remembered something. They're already fools.
Take Alex here. We've been over his primal urges for Aerith before, now he's saying he debates to 'maintain the credibility' of The Northern Crater. Apparently Alex never got the memo, but whatever credibility The Northern Crater might have ever had is long since gone. So has any importance. Until a research pencilneck informed us of Alex's post, we had thought the forum a long dead monument to Clerith fail.
We're not even going to touch the dictator sounding "silence them with a wave of my hand."
Wintercream relates to us a tale of 'mean ole Cloti' who said mean things to her. Without even getting into all the strangenesses, or the nonsense about Aerith representing 'purity', or the overuse of smilies, can you notice what's missing from this picture? Yep, that's right, anything 'Cloti'. Apparently, liking Tifa more than Aerith is enough to make you a damn dirty Cloti in their eyes. But it's always been about Aerith (Aka- them) winning, no matter how they try and hide their nonsense.
Ah, Anastar. Rabid Pope of Pink. Second only to Glorious Leader and The Holy Pink Goddess herself. She and Drake Clawfang have a conversation about how they obviously saw the story as Clerith, and anyone who sees it as Cloti is obviously lying or delusional.There's all sorts of ways to look at this post, and point out the audacity and egomania going on, but we don't think our readers are idiots (well, some of you are, but you aren't our intended audience), so we won't insult your intelligence by explaining why their reasoning holds less water than a bucket without a bottom.
Again readers, we ask, what can be done on a day like today when one's fool has already made a bigger fool of themselves than you could ever make them?
