This one is quite the doozy. Us pencilnecks had to recruit John Madden to do a play by play of the CLERIS FAIL.

You see pencilnecks, what's happening here is great. Since 1997, the cleris freaks put up a defensive line by constantly making shit up. Clerises claim that Aerith wanted to have sex with Cloud during an optional FF7 date minigame. This happens when Aerith tells Cloud she wants to meet him (meaning: meet the real Cloud) during said optional date. Let's roll the playback once more:
Everyone knows that none of this self-indulgent sex tripe ever happened. So in typical Cleris redneck fashion, their sad leader made up an imaginary Japanese friend (aptly named after an anime character) who said that their claim was trufax. This was on their website and they cream all over it on their forums - despite what real Japanese speaking people (such as the pencilnecks), google, and dictionaries say. Here's a playback of what was on their website, before they scurried to delete it right after this post:
Unfortunately for the Clerises, the Square-Enix team was already on the offense and broke through their lines during the actual FF7 game. Cloud says he wants Tifa to "meet the real him" and says he's glad when they "finally meet again". These pivotal quotes from Cloud to Tifa are touched upon in the FF 20th Anniversary Ultimania books multiple times. With pictures.
The Clerises' precious one-liner of Aerith saying she "wants to meet" Cloud? Never. Besides, Cloud's feelings are the deciding factor in this game. And according to Cleris logic, he said he wanted to have a "deeper" and "sexual" relationship with Tifa. Also according to Cleris logic, he "finally" banged her in the lifestream. "Again".
Now that's what I call the play of the week! The same books have multiple interviews and sections reminding everyone that Cloud has sex with Tifa. Besides, according to the compilation, he must have scored with her multiple times after the game, too.
Clerises are still on the defensive with the actual sex in the game, desperately faking left with a "low affection" version - one where no sex under the highwind ever happened. Too bad for them, the so called "high affection" version (read: the real one) is the only script referred to or mentioned in official books (FF20th, FF7 10th, Ultimania Omega, Memorial, Dismantling, and Reunion) and interviews. And the "low" one they claim exists? Sex still happens.
