Well, it looks like, once again, we here at Destiny Failed must correct the misconceptions of our keen eyed fans from the Cloud x Aeris forums whose sarcasm detectors don't seem to be plugged in. While we are sure you enjoy having a laugh at us, again, we'd like to point out you... well, before we get into what you did, let's take a look at a rather distressing circumstance that has just arisen.
"You don't understand Alex!! There's no such thing as unrequited love!! Once you fall in love with someone, they automatically have to love you back!!!"
You're expressing derision at the idea that love is automatically mutual. That's good. We do to. However...
"Love is not a one-sided feeling..."
Wait a second...
It seems you are contradicting yourself here. In your essay you say love is automatically reciprocating. In another you say it isn't. Can you not make up your mind? Is simple consistency too much to ask? Or did you simply utterly miss the point of our essay -- to point out how ludicrious it is to say love cannot be one-sided?
"But, but... wait... what about Johnny?!? Isn't he in love with Tifa? So that means - according to Cloti logic - Tifa has to love Johnny, not Cloud!"
Looks like number three, though we're not ruling out the other two either. Again, while we do appreciate your readership, we would like to request you please remember that we are here for the purpose of exposing the absurdities your side has collected over the years, and that we will occasionally take the piss to do so.
Now, a little dumbed down version for the stupid: We do not believe that because one person loves someone, that the other person automatically loves them back. We were making fun of YOU for writing "love is not a one-sided feeling" in your essay. It's great you seem to feel the way we do about this and think it's a ridiculous statement. Perhaps you should take it out of your essay and realize that by making fun of this concept, you were bashing your own essay.
Until next time, faithful readers.
You are here. There is the point, 6.78 miles away from you
